Re: poll: finances
We do it all together. There is one card that I can't look at for some reason and we are going to keep it that way until after christmas (so he can buy without me seeing it online).

I get phone calls all the time from DH going though the CC asking if we or I made the purchases... I told him today that I could never cheat on him, I would get caught within days
He did not think that was as funny as I did.
H is the budget man.. he loves math so I leave it up to him. Besides he makes the money not me, or what I make isn't worth trying to be the one in charge of the budget for.
When it comes to time to pay the bills we do it together so that at least I have somewhat of an idea of what is coming/going. He has a spreadsheet, so that at least I can look at that and know exactly where all our money is going as well.

even though he "pays" for everything, we talk about all our bills, etc..so neither one of us is in "charge", but he does the general housekeeping of the accounts.

I am in charge of paying every bill, because DH is pretty forgetful and I don't want to pay $0.01 in late fees.
He does help to make sure the bills balance out, since we have a joint account as well as two separate accounts and want to make sure neither one of us is paying out more from their separate than the other.
