Knitting is a cruel waste of time
I mean, what do you have against those poor little kids in China anyway?

Re: Knitting is a cruel waste of time
I was going to be mad if there were no kittens in this post. So yay for that!
Knitting isn't expensive, it's the addiction to buying the knitting supplies. Plus, it's busy work for your hands.
*Note: I don't knit, my MIL does. And she buys yarn and needles like they're going out of style.

Disagree (1)
I don't have anything against the poor little Chinese kids. I'm thinking about my poor husband and coworkers and how horrible I would be if I didn't have knitting as a destress outlet.
Besides, the things I make are waaaay prettier and fit better than store-bought items. They certainly don't have to be expensive if you know where to shop for your yarn, either.

Um, What?
If you want to stir the pot, I suggest pretty much any board except this one...
lol. Right? Does she expect Reindumonde and Dr. Loretta to offer a verbal beat down?
There have been kitten photos on a lot of the boards posts, just in random posts.
Besides, I'm okay with a troll who just posts photos of kittens and tells us we're mean to little Chinese kid for making our own stuff vs. buying. I mean... KITTENS! There is no downside for me.

I love it when people try to upset us. We're so relaxed and chill from all of the crafting and de-stressing we do that no one can crack us! Bahaha...

LOL! I was talking to a colleague who knits beautifully and charges next to nothing for her work and asked why she didn't charge people more. Her response--
Knitting is what keeps my family in tact. If I didn't have so many things to knit...someone might die (she has 5 teenagers).

That poor, poor woman. I was one of 4 teenagers (I was 19 when my youngest sister turned 13). And 3 of us were girls.

Kittens!
That's all.

If I were feeling more charitable, I'd knit one big fluffy Pinterest invite out of kitten fur yarn (humanely harvested from every single surface of the homes they inhabit) and donate it to the lurkers and one-post-wonders of the world, in the name of poor Chinese children and the devastation that the entire DIY trend has rained down on their cheap manufactured goods factory jobs.
Except for the ones that work in factories that make cheap manufactured craft supplies and non-kitten-fur yarn. They're still enjoying the daily grind.
