Should I keep this dress or not? I usually don't wear a lot of patterns, so I am having trouble deciding if I like this or not.

I am also thinking that I somehow bought a size larger than I tried on. The top portion didn't hang like that in the store.

This exactly. I LOVE that pattern, but I wear patterns maybe 6 days a week so that could be me. I like the fit as well.

I don't usually wear patterns, but I think it looks good on you. If you think you'll be able to get out of your comfort zone and wear it, then keep it! Occasionally my mom will buy clothes for me that I wouldn't buy for myself and those are usually the ones I get the most compliments on when I wear them. My taste is pretty conservative (read: boring), but I usually find it's worth it to venture out a bit if I have a reliable opinion telling me it looks good. And we are nothing if not reliable ;-)

Oo! Like rpic and some others said, I really like the pattern, color, and fit! And I don't normally wear patterns either. I think you can always be a bit bolder with dresses, you don't have to match them with another piece and you can wear them for special occasions when you want to make a statement.

Hard to tell from the pic, but I think I really like it. I would wear a solid belt to break it up with some color shoes that would pop.

I think it looks great on you! If you keep it, wear it somewhere almost immediately, that's the only way to make sure that you use it. I'm notorious for buying the exact same clothing all the time and it's always nice when I make a bit of a jump to something else.

The belt is tan. It came with a really skinny braided belt but I thought it needed to be broken up a bit more than that so I switched it out for a wide belt I already have.
