Anna is finally here and absolutely just a dream!! We are in love. Somehow my camera has disappeared in the chaos, I am so sad. We have been in 4 different places with it and the staff is looking. ugh!
I had contractions from 3am to about 1pm every 3 to 5 minutes and then they slowed down significantly. A small dose of pitocin did not help. Anna's heartrate began to be very irregular and the OB, midwife and nurse were all concerned. They gave me the option of upping the pitocin and seeing if I would dilate beyond 3cm, but I just had a feeling it would go on for another 3-6 hours and then I'd have a C anyway. I just wanted her out and safe, so opted for C immediately. The procedure was not bad at all! She cried immediately. It was torture to only see her for 2 seconds before they wisked her away!
Breastfeeding is going OK, I think. LOL! Time for a feeding now. Thank you ALL for the support throughout this journey.... Love my Nestie friends! I will share a pic asap. xo
