S/O Don't make fun of me...
I put up our Christmas tree this afternoon! Well, it's actually a Christmas palm, which works well for our shoebox of a house. I picked up some glittery snowflakes at Target in shades of blue and silver and they look so pretty in the white lights.
I'm super pumped to get in the holiday spirit!
Re: S/O Don't make fun of me...
I'm jealous. Our tree would normally be on the way up, but my Sister is getting married in two weeks and all the girls are getting ready at our house.
I'm with you, but I am fighting the urge to put it up.
Instead I will go find my respect the turkey photo for my siggy and FB....
I am silently judging all of you. KIDDING.
But, I am firmly in the 'respect the turkey' camp and it's only Nov 8th and I just don't get it. Grand Central Terminal was setting up their Holiday Fair booths this morning when I went through and I was like "really?!?!?!"
I'll respect the turkey... begrudgingly.
And then the tree will be going up the day after Thanksgiving! I'm so excited!
My decorations always go up that Friday.
I think the only reason I'm wanting to push Christmas up this year is because we have no plans set due to waiting for LO's arrival throughout December.
I watched (part of) How the Grinch Stole Christmas with N this morning.
Other than that though, I am NOT in the Christmas mood yet. I cringed when I heard Christmas music on the radio yesterday. I'm not a huge "respect the turkey" person, I'm just not there yet.
Our crazy, wonderful life
I'm with you, but we haven't had a Christmas tree since we got married. (Like I said, I live in a shoe box.) I was so excited to finally find something that can fit that I couldn't wait! (That and I just went on my annual Holiday market visit with my MIL.)
