Poll: Voting

I am so ready for this election to be over!  Ohio has a heated battle right now over Senate Bill 5 (bargaining rights for public employees).  I'm tired of my blood pressure going up every time our governor comes on TV.  Anyways... Did/Will you vote?[Poll]

I was wondering who the f you were. :)

Issue 2 is a heated debate among a lot of my friends. In fact my Zumba instructor and her husband have not been speaking to each other over it .... gah!

  • I don't even know what races are going on.  Either there haven't been many ads, or I'm doing a good job tuning them out.
  • Lol- I was wondering who you were.

I am heading to vote at lunch.

Not too many heated battles here but on the ballot in a lot of areas in GA is Sunday Alcohol sales.

It wasn't a problem for us until the closed the Army based here in July. The army base was always exempt from the Sunday ban so it never affected we went or someone in our family just went to Class Six ( name of base liquor stores) and picked up our beer ect.

It bothers me that the reason that this is an issue is our former governor forced his religious beliefs on the entire state. Other wise, we would have voted on this years ago.

  • Not today. I haven't heard of any local issues, so I don't know what I'd be voting for/against.
  • No but only because I don't have an election to vote in. The local towns have elections but I don't live within any of the city lines.

  • Issue 2 and 3 are the big ones here, and quite frankly... I'm over it.

I'm not voting because a) I don't even know where we are supposed to vote (since we moved after election day last year) and b) I haven't been educated enough on the issues to make a decision.

  • I always try to vote. But this year I'm just sick of all the pettiness and the "I'm not a career politician" crap. I'm also sick of them calling my house 10 times every day. So I'm going to be a scrooge and not vote. They're all terrible choices anyway Indifferent
  • our county had their election last Tuesday paying no attention to the Constitution--our school's mil levy did not pass and 2 very anti-education people got onto the school board--not pretty

    This! LOL

  • We only have city council and mayor elections today. None are contested so I'm not voting.

  • I should go vote, but I only have about 20 minutes to figure out who to vote for (as I haven't looked into it at all this year...i know there's a school board election...) and where I'm supposed to actually go vote (it changes sometimes depending on how big of an election it is). So I guess I'll be passing on this one.
  • Ditto sunshine. The only thing in the news here is legalizing Sunday alcohol sales. We're in the south, people.
