As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer Learning Tablet
Anyone have one already or planning to get their child one for Christmas? I'm thinking about buying one for my son (almost 3 1/2) and just curious on your 2 cents. We do not have an ipad, but he does know how to use an ipod touch.
He has the Tag Jr. reader and although he likes to read, seems bored with it.

We just got one for Katen. It's really cool! It has great apps for writing letters, games that increase dexterity, etc. I am really happy with the purchase and the games that it offers. I also liked that, while some of the games are disney/pixar/etc character based, that's not the whole base of games. You can get nice variety. Target has a $10 off in their toy flyer for it. Ana is able to use it too and she's almost 2.
Katen is so over the tag jr but Ana loves it. My beef with the Jr is that there aren't that many books available. Katen likes regular books better whereas Ana is to impatient to be read a book. In that way the tag works better for her.
I think the Tag Jr is young for a 3 year old. Both of the boys love the Tag Reader.
