I'm intrigued, and on week 4 of a sinus infection (thus desperate). Be honest - does this at any point feel like when you get water up your nose at the pool? I can't fathom how this is different. Would doing a sinus rinse help me at all?

Re: Sinus rinse users
No it does not feel like that, dh rinses his as he gets infections all the time. He finds it really helps during allergy season. I do mine occasionally if I feel a cold kind of starting to come on. Granted I am rarely ever sick and he has an infection 1-2 times a year at least. Definitely worth trying. We have used the neilmed brand and also the walgreens knockoff brand. Both are good. If you follow Neilmed on FB they sometimes give away free ones which is nice. Now dh uses the squirty bottle not the netti pot. He didn't like the pot but others swear by it.
I use mine daily through the winter, and twice a day when I have a cold. I use regular tap water (filtered), and warm it up a little in the microwave -- like 10 sec or something just to get the chill off.
There are days where it feels like not much is coming back out, but that's only when I'm really clogged -- it really ISN'T coming out because it's stuck behind snot.
