A good message out of a sad experience

One of my dearest friends just lost his father after an ugly battle with lung cancer, and my heart just goes out to him. I have to commend him on taking a moment out of his grief to post a message regarding the loss of his father and encouraging those who smoke to quit, and I thought it was worth sharing with all of you. As an ex-smoker myself, I applaud him for wanting to send out a good message in spite of a tragic loss. I know that we're all adults, and everyone has the right to smoke or not to, but it's a little good food for thought when thinking about how smoking could affect your loved ones down the line.

MathewRIP Dad.

Been working on several digital map-based anecdotes or poignant father-son stories. Yet after the past few days how I feel is this: if you or someone you care about smokes cigarettes, try harder to quit or be more annoying about quitting. It may not have saved my Dad's life, but it would have made his passing much less ugly.
