I dont think I even know the man I married

So MH has never voted (I give him shiiit about it constantly. Voting is a big deal to me)

Last night at dinner he said to me "I think I am going to register to vote this election"

I was like "awesome, we can go together" (we just moved)

Then he was like "I think I'm going to vote for Ron Paul"

I shook my head, and was like "I dont even know what to say to that"  Indifferent

  • Oh no. No. No. I will return with links.
I've seen a lot of military surprise homecomings. It wouldn't work on me. I always have my back to the corner and my face to the door. Looking for terrorists, criminals, various other threats, and husbands.

It's The New Republic, but if you research the info in less political sources, I think he will reconsider. Plenty of Republicans are quality choices and never put their names on newsletters like that.

Oh I totally agree he will reconsider. I highly doubt he has done any actual research on the issue. Which I will also change. We aren't uneducated voters in my family.

    *wince*

I'm sure that the subject matter is worth considering and reading about, but the picture at the beginning really kills it for me. (I read the article and I'm working through the comments section)

I really find it difficult to read past things like that. I've seen similar things done with the current president and I don't like that much either.

  • This reminds me H needs to update his address and I need to figure out the absentee process.
  • Right, I tend to agree, however I have faith that Jilly and Mr. Jilly will spend the time to research the same info from less partisan sources. The fact is, picture turning you off or not, the information in the article is worth reading. It's a political cartoon. And, if you read his newsletters, that stuff pictured is what the newsletters have in them.
