my unpopular "opinion"
I strongly dislike all things pumpkin flavoured and therefore hate this time of year when all the recipes going around the blog-o-sphere are pumpkin this and pumpkin that.
Am I alone in my dislike of pumpkin? I think it mainly stems from Pumpkin pie - its not even so much the taste, but the texture that I can't stand (and I'm not one to pass up dessert!)
Edited because I wrote "desert" not "dessert" two very different things

My Blog
I'm not a pumpkin fan either, BUT the best thing I ever tasted was Pioneer woman's pumpkin cream pie.
It is amazing. And the only way I would eat pumpkin.
I don't mind it, but I don't get the obsession with it either. Especially the Starbuck's latte. It's really not that good, people.
I will say I had some amazing pumpkin muffins the other day. Yum!
I love punkin. I had the most awesome punkin pie cake at H's aunt's house and I could have died for it. Then we had punkin (punkin is so much more fun to say than pumpkin) day at work and I had the most amazing oatmeal, pumpkin, and dark chocolate cookies, and someone else made some pumpkin cheesecake that I thought was an orgasm in my mouth.
But I don't like the pumpkin stuff at Starbucks, and I got a pumpkin concrete mixer at Culvers and it was disgusting. So it's hit or miss with me sometimes.
And I don't judge punkin haters. Cause that means more for me.
I agree 100%, we didn't buy anything special to bring Mackenzie home in. The newborn sized sleeper we did have to bring her home was humongous on her!
I'm also glad to learn I'm not alone in my dislike of all things pumpkin
Then please judge me. Because I have the blue and gold Murray State Racer outfit all picked out from the campus bookstore for my future little ones, right down to the teeny tiny little baby booties! I've even considered going ahead and purchasing this outfit, and I think most of you know that I'm never that mushy. Someone stop me.
uhh, yeah..this kid is coming home dressed to the nines in Penn State blue & white! (despite what is going on right now, I will always bleed blue & white)
Me too! I love pumpkin anything. I have been busy baking pumpkin items since September and don't plan on stopping for a few more weeks! Our local orchard, where I purchase my baking pumpkins and all our produce from has teased me b/c I have bought so many pumpkins this year & he knows us by name.
This is me too. From about September until Thanksgiving I want all the pumpkin I can get! Especially the Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes. To me, it tastes like fall. I love it!
