I asked DH if we could be on House Hunters. He laughed and said no, but I think he thought I was kidding. But I'm not.
I would totally be on it, just because I'm obsessed with HGTV. Maybe after we move, I should try to be on one of their design shows instead.

I agree on the free room thing. That'll also help convince DH.
Free room sounds awesome to me! My hestiation has always been that I will look like a big goober on tv and people will make fun of me. This is because I make fun of some of the goobers myself.

I can't remember if the conversation was on the nest or if it was something that happened to a friend. But anyway, the person who was on the show was rather upset by the way the producers made the participants focus on "stupid stuff" like the color of the walls or the flooring or something like that... They felt the producers really tried to make them look obnoxious and not very bright...
I would hate doing house hunters... (I kind of don't really like the show to begin with.)
As far as design shows, I would not mind having Candace in my home, but other than her, there are very few designers I would really want to come into my home.
Yes, I think I read this on the Nest too. I think either on D&R or BAH. The girl was talking about how they made her focus on brass fixtures in every house, or something. It made me look at the show from a different perspective, although I still enjoy watching to see all of the different houses.
