xmas presents for a 14 month old
So my MIL keeps asking me what to get my little man for Xmas. He will be 14 months old. He has way more than he needs, and my house is seriously busting at the seams with toys that he does not even play with. I need some suggestions from you mommies, what am I not thinking of that may be helpful in the future?

When my kids did not understand the whole opening presents thing we had them get something small that the kids could open but then big presents were zoo and museum memberships, gymnastics and swim lessons, etc...
Puzzles or some melissa and doug toys...I bought A this Melissa and Doug thing that is like a puzzle but has little doors to open to get to the pieces and they are magnets and they can move them around and stuff, and it's a farm so now that he knows all his animal noises he will open the doors, see a cow and say "Mooo". It's a pretty cool little toy and entertains him for a good 7 minutes!

If you need a big gift idea, I would suggest telling her to buy a sand and water table for outside next summer. We did that last year and he loves it.
