Happy Tuesday.
I've decided that I really like this time change. I feel so awake and useful in the mornings. I even got some leaves raked up this morning while waiting for my ride.
Dinner was a bit of a fail last night, so I may have had a brownie sundae. Erin (the housemate) is having a terrible time at school. Not because she isn't learning, but because the staff and teachers are apparently treating her like a moron. From what we've heard and seen she's doing very well. She's expressed interest in transferring somewhere else and I have to say, as much as I don't at all mind having her living with us, I wouldn't be upset if she left earlier than planned (March).
Tonight, same old same old, cleaning, hopefully a workout and maybe a walk.
How is everyone today?
Re: Good Morning!
Good Morning!
Yesterday was crazy busy with work and soccer. I am looking forward to the rest of the week being much more relaxed. DH is off work today and he is cooking tacos. I love his tacos because he makes his own taco seasoning. Today is just another day of busy work. I do have a good many errands to run on my lunch break so hopefully I can get everything marked off my list.
I'm going to complain a bit for now. I'm still exhausted, because something has happened to my once decent sleeping little boy. He now wakes up almost every 2-3 hours and doesn't even really need anything. He just wakes up screaming until one of us picks him up and attempts to give him a bottle. He doesn't even have a full diaper most of the time. I'm convinced he's having nightmares like I used to as a kid. It just seems really young to even dream things like that yet.
This morning I rammed some woman coming off the highway. She had gone into traffic, or so I'd thought. While I was looking at traffic so I could enter the street, she had hit her brakes, so when I went, I nailed her. Thankfully, it's a whopping mile/hour speed, so there wasn't any damage. The problem I foresee is her crazy husband calling and screaming at me or claiming she's got a billion injuries that honestly couldn't happen at those speeds. We'll see how the rest of my month goes. If I don't ever hear from them, I'll be a happy camper.
As for tonight, DH can stay awake and handle the house while I go to bed early. Apparently he thinks 8 is a good bed time, while I'm stuck putting the dogs to bed and dealing with screaming baby until 12.
Okay. Rant over. Hope everyone else is having a good Tuesday, though.
Snoopy, I'm sorry it's been rough. I hope you're able to get some rest tonight, and I hope everything's good on the car front.
Morning. I had a fairly productive evening--I went for a run (which was tough, but I did it) and then did some reading for my book club. It was pretty low key overall. Tonight's probably going to be more of the same.
Have a great day, everyone.
snoopy, hugs. I hope your week improves.
We had a good night. We went out and met some friends for dinner and Monday night football. We ended up leaving at half time because we were both still exhausted from the weekend, so we watched the second half from home. I'm feeling a little more rested today.
Tonight my sister is coming into town. She has to be in town for work tomorrow so she's driving down tonight and spending the night with me. Then tomorrow we'll be able to meet up for lunch as well, along with my brother.
Good morning, I'm tired.
I got a 7am phone call from a client. They are from out of state. Their key didn't work so they called me and I had run down there and let them in. Luckily their condo is only 2 blocks up from mine. It was not a good way to start the day.
I'm very sleepy and today is going to be busy.
Snoopy, I hope you get some well needed rest, and that you never hear from the person you were in an accident with again.
Another typical day for me. I am planning on getting to bed early though. The time change is killing me since the boys are up at 5:00 am every day. UGH.
Have a great day ladies.
Snoopy - ::Hugs:: Hope things start looking up for you soon!
Good morning. Last night was uneventful, DH was tired and grouchy so I I did my best to avoid him. We had dinner and then I sat at the computer for most of the evening.
Today is off to a better start, a friend brought me a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks and my boss is in court all day! No big plans tonight, just dinner and I'm hoping to start some Thanksgiving craft projects.
Morning all. Last night was pretty good. I had a work event in the evening at a local theater, and it was really fun. Then I went home and watched Monday night football with B and some of his friends.
Today should be fairly low key at work. This evening I need to pick up my car at the shop, and run a few errands. That's it for me.

I made baked avocado fries for dinner and they were amazing.
We might have drank a bit of wine celebrating yesterdays good news.
Poor DH has to start the layoff process of someone that's been with the company 30 years. He's a bit afraid that the guy is going to go off the deep end, so I'm a bit nervous today.
Tonight will consist of finding an outfit for my follow-up interview tomorrow and hopefully a good nights sleep.
Good morning ladies. I am feeling much better today after a full nights sleep and some hot coffee. Nothing exciting going on over here today. I'll be leaving shortly to train the not so new guy at his office so I won't be online after that. Oh we are going to have lasagna that he made for lunch and I brought a Caesar salad.
Tonight will be low key. I'm making a steak salad for dinner and I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks to Pinterest I've been trying new recipes and both DH and I are loving it. Have a great day ladies.
Snoopy, sorry you're having a rough day. Do you think Jackson is going through the 4 month wakeful phase?
Whoa. I can now post from my iPhone with JavaScript on? Sweet!
Not much going on today. It's looking dreary outside do we probably won't go out. And I'm feeling super lazy anyway. I have yet to eat lunch. Hmm.

That sucks when a school doesn't work well for kids. Why did she move in with you again? I totally forget.
I'm in a super crusty mood today. I've been majorly depressed for the past 3 days and I just can't shake this funk. I thought it was hormonal, but I've never had PMS last this long before... I'm hoping a good day at school with some laughs.

She moved in with us so she could go to this school. She's studying to become a hair dresser/stylist/whatever. The school seems like a bit of a joke.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I didn't even know there was such a thing. What does it entail other than the obvious? There's always something going on with kids, so I just figure it's some milestone or another. I hate to say it, but I can't wait until he can talk and tell me what's going on. I know I shouldn't look forward to the next step and wish it to go faster, but I really do.
Today has been just okay. It seems like they are finishing up my roof and I'm waiting for DH to come home so he can take care of that I can go for my run. I have to be back and ready by 6pm since I'm on call tonight and need to be available. It's pretty annoying since I was expecting him probably a half hour ago.
As I understand it, around 3-4 months they start to become so aware and interested in the world that they spend less time nursing/ eating. As a result, they get more hungry at night and get up more often to eat. At night, there are less distractions so they manage to fill up their tummies then.
I know between the 3 month growth spurt and 4 month wakeful (which started for Darian shortly after 3 months), I really haven't had a decent nights sleep in weeks. Bah.

Thanks for the info. That makes sense. I think that might be where we are, except he's not really eating at night. He's honestly just waking up to be walked around and then back to bed. I gave up trying to force the bottles, because he's been spitting up so much.
