o This weekend it hit me like a TON of bricks? I can?t get comfortable- sitting down my lower back aches, walking I get sharp pains in my stomach and lower region, laying down my hips hurt, my acid reflux is the worst it?s been all pregnancy- even my medication isn?t helping. I toss and turn all night, I was exhausted all weekend? I?m so done being pregnant and ready to meet this baby!! I feel like I?m on the verge of tears over everything. I can?t concentrate at work, there isn?t anything left to do at home? ugh ahahahasldg ;lgha!!!!!!!
I was up for 4 hours last night with Braxton Hicks contractions. I wound up calling the nurse line at our hospital (sat on hold for 30 minutes and then the on-call OBGYN had to call me back). I kept waking up with these very sharp pains in my lower right back. So sharp that I was dry heaving from the pain. The doctor said it sounded like they were Braxton Hicks and the baby was laying on a nerve of mine so whenever I?d have a ?contraction? it was pinching the nerve in my back? wonderful?

That sucks Mary. Hopefully your little one decides to make an appearance sooner rather than later. I can't wait to "meet" her! You are so close.
How much longer are you working for? Take a sick day and just lay on the couch all day and watch your old favourite movies (or new ones you haven't seen yet) and just relax if you can get comfortable.

Augh, sounds exhausting! Are you working until your due date? I can't wait to meet your little one either...she's going to be so beautiful!!
I've only been experiencing braxton hicks. Last night I was super crampy in my lower stomach/top of my vagina area that I laid down and fell asleep at 7:30. Apparently I was fine because I only woke up about 5 times to pee, but not for pain. I saw the dr today and he's measuring 5 1/2 lbs and 36 weeks. This was the GD specialist so I will see my actual dr on Monday for her check up. I think I start to go once a week now.
Yeah I have no pain tolerance either so that doesn?t help.
I?m working right up until the baby gets here. I have to use my PTO during my maternity leave so I don?t want to take any days off now that I could take off to spend with the baby.

Wow- so you're measuring ahead?!
Yes, he's measuring about 2 weeks ahead and about 1 -1 1/2 lbs ahead of "normal measurement". I'm taking this with a grain of salt because ultrasound measurements tend to be wrong this late in the game.
I hate to say this, but I had zero heartburn with Maggie and she had a ton of hair
And I had a TON (I couldn't drink water or eat dry toast w/o heartburn) and Anders was born with just a small amount of hair around the sides of his head-like an 80 year old little man. I'm on rx meds this time, thank goodness.

I'm the same way Meghan- I had a plain muffin and water for breakfast yesterday and my heart burn was so intense by 10am I had to go to the nurse's office at work to lay down for a while. I know it's an old wives tale that heartburn means lots of hair but I can be hopeful because I have lots of cute headbands for this baby that will make the heartburn worth it!!
