I need expert mom opinions on local kid attractions?
I am gearing up for what I think is going to be the best holiday ever. My sister is coming for Thanksgiving with her husband and their daughter, who is 18 months old. Now that my niece is walking and talking and being all around adventurous and adorable-I?d like to plan on us taking her somewhere fun the day after Thanksgiving. So, where should be go and what inside tips do you have?

Definitely the Light Show!
Also check to see if the Longwood Gardens light show is going on then.
Here's another one if you are willing to drive to the Atlantic City area:

If you want to take a little drive the Christmas Village is a farm where every building is decorated like the house in Christmas Vacation. We're thinking of going Thanksgiving weekend.

Otherwise the Wanamaker's light show and Dicken's Village. I agree the museums will be full that day. The zoo would be fun.
Also if you're looking for holiday stuff to do we're looking into doing this as well.

It's a train line in West Chester that does a special Santa ride. Here's the description if you don't feel like clicking:
All aboard Santa's Express! Join Santa for a 90 minute journey on our heated decorated train through the Chester Creek Valley. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be greeting everyone at Market Street Station and then going along for the ride to Glen Mills. Once at Glen Mills passengers can disembark and explore the historic station. There are plenty of photo opportunities on Santa's lap inside the station. Remember your cameras! Upon return to West Chester, all passengers receive treats from Santa! Passengers also enjoy the live music of Greg Wright and friends singing all of your favorite Christmas songs. They take requests so don't be shy!Adults - $20
Children (ages 2-12) - $12.50
Toddlers (not on adult lap) - $5.00
Oh this is right by Cabelas! I bet I could convince Dan to go if we can stop at Cabelas on the way.
I've been here! It's neat but all outside so bundle up.
