Holly, SCB, E, and others......have you been in lately?
I was in for my OB check yesterday and found out they are adding three more doctors! The whole office is under construction, they are moving the medspa up front to the left of the checkin area, etc. I was just there 3 weeks ago and none of this was going on. My advice...if you don't HAVE to go there in the next couple months...DON'T. I feel so bad for the nurses. They are moving everyone around and having to put up with the transition of new doctors and staff coming on. They are super stressed.
It will be great when it's done but it's kind of a clusterfvck right now

Re: Mid City OB/GYN girls
Who do you see? I see Kuyper
I will say that I didn't have to wait or anything like that but it's still chaotic!

Wow! I was not aware of any of that but thanks for the fyi. I was in there in Sept and all was normal and quiet. Did they say how long the transition would last?
I'm not sure how long it will last. The new MedSpa area was drywalled and looked to be nearing the finishing stage. I'm not sure how long it will take to turn the current MedSpa into offices or exam rooms (or whatever). I will inquire in 2 weeks at my next appt
They need to expand the nurses area too. They had to take my vitals in the exam room, take me back up front to pee, and then back to the room. She did my temp in the hallway outside the bathroom! I think the nurses are bearing the brunt of it right now.

Whew, I just went a few months ago, so unless I end up KU'd, I don't have to go back until next year. Thank goodness!
Thanks for the heads up though!
