I know not everyone here has floated the river but if you have or have ever wanted to what do you think about this?

I still don't understand how people float with coolers or while drinking. Me and Ben had a tough time just manuevering ourselves sober.
I can see both sides but yeah, I doubt it passes.

I agree that they need to just work harder at enforcing rules and I also think maybe restrict the size again of the coolers but I think it is a huge source of revenue for the city and it would kill the area.
We went down there in July to go to Schlitterbaun and the house we rented was on the river. The people who owned the property said they support some type of ban but they don't want it banned completely. They said they can't tell you how many damages have been done to their property and how many arrest they have seen. They said that they think you should be able to drink and enjoy yourselves without getting so wasted you are a risk to yourself and others. I think just getting a little more strict with the rules and maybe limiting how much you are allowed to take would help a lot without crippling the town.
