AWW Baby Shower gifts.

It's been a while since I've posted any finished projects. I guess that is what happens when you can't focus enough to finish a project before starting another. I do have several more baby related projects that are nearing completion and will hopefully be done in the next week or two.

Both of these were made for baby showers this summer.

This quilt was made for a friend, who is due the same day I am. This is a quilt that goes together really quickly (about 4 evenings). My husband was betting that I wouldn't finish in time for her shower since I started it the week of her shower and have been working on our baby's quilt all summer long. I let him help select the border and binding since it was a gift for his best friend's baby. I had been asking all summer what their plans for the nuersery were and finally gave up and selected the fabric. Two days before the shower the baby's dad posted on facebook that he was painting their nursery, raspberry tart and bamboo green. I was shocked that we had picked the same color scheme, as was my friend.

The pattern based off of this Moda tutorial. The fabrics were all from JoAnns or pulled from my stash.

This aphgan was made for a friend from highschool who had her baby in August. I used Lions Brand Homespun and the delectable shell pattern from Ravelry.

I've also finished our baby's quilt, this past week but haven't gotten picutres taken of it yet.
