baby name deliberation still!
DH took my crazy long list and narrowed it down to four. THIS IS WAY TOO HARD. I'm still not sold, but glad to finally have some input from him!
His four favorites are:
Tessa
Nadia
Delilah (what would your first instinct nickname be for this name? i think that is what concerns me, is it's long and i can't think of a nickname that i like)
Amelia
Of course, knowing me, I will change my mind on these tomorrow, but I feel like we are making progress!

Delilah is my favorite, and for the nn I would instantly go with Lilah.
Delilah and Amelia were on my list of possibilities. One of the issues I had with Delilah is I couldn't think of a nickname I liked enough. I only thought of D, Lilah or Del.

I agree. We were actually arguing over our boy name on the way to the hospital. We never came to an agreemment either because I just knew she was a girl. We were leaning towards Molly as our first choice but when we saw her DH announced her name. She just looked like a Molly. You will know when the time comes.
DH and I have only had one real conversation about it too; and we're not worried about having a name until later. We've already told family/friends we're not sharing the name anyway, so it takes off all that pressure! Not sure if you're sharing pre-emptively or not since you're Team Green. GL! It is way hard....
Agreed. I liked Zachary, but I was torn and went into the delivery room pretty much sold on Michael III. I didn't write his name on the official paper until almost 24 hours later.
He's a Zac, not a Mikey.
You'll know when the time comes.
Yeah, I'm not totally concerned with nailing it down exactly, but it would be nice to have 2-3 choices to take to the hospital. Obviously we have time, but when I'm bored at work, I look at a lot of name ideas!
We aren't telling people until baby comes either way... I just want to have a few choices that "feel" right.
Good for you!
Sex, I'll find out and tell.
But never again will I discuss baby names. Good grief.
Exactly this. Plus I think "Lila(h)" would sound so cute as a kid saying it. Janie has a friend "Lilly" and I ask her to say the name all the time because it's so.freaking.cute.
I really like all of them too, but Amelia & Delilah are my favorites. Like the other ladies, I immediately go to "Lila/Lilah" as a nickname.... so cute
And again like the other ladies have already said, you'll just know when you find the right one. It's such a fun (but sometimes exhausting/stressful) process figuring it out.... can't wait to hear what you guys pick!
