S/O PSA: Shop "local" on Etsy
For those who shop Etsy but may not have gone into almostjones's post below, I wanted to share this in case you didn't know: On Etsy, you can scroll to the lower left side of the page and click "shop local." Then enter your zip code.
I know lots of us love personally monogrammed shirts for our kiddos and you can do 2 awesome things by using this search feature - 1) Provide continued employment for residents of our community, and 2) Possibly save on shipping by either having the individual send it to you first class mail or agree to meet you to hand off the goods.

I'm glad y'all found this helpful.
I have to admit I only figured out it was a feature when I set up my own etsy shop (back when I thought I actually wanted to sew & sell items on etsy... I've since changed my mind).
