I need to find a new mascara. I've tried Cover Girl in the orange tube and the one in the purple tube (sorry, can't remember the exact names) and they are both clumpy. I've gotten a tube of Clinique mascara in the free gift awhile back and that looked clumpy on my lashes too.
So what kind of mascara do you use? Do you like it?
Re: Recommend your mascara
Let's see... I can recommend Maybelline's XXL Extensions. It has a primer you put on first then the top coat. It makes me eyelashes look full and very long. Lasted all day and didn't smudge. This one might be my favorite.
I can also recommend L'oreal's Double Extend. It is also a 2 step. The first is regular mascara and the second is an eye illuminator step, supposedly to enhance the color of your eyes. I thought it was gimmicky at first, but it kinda grew on me. It does add something different than other mascara's I use.
It you want a higher end mascara, I can recommend Est?e Lauder's lash primer plus followed by the bold volume lifting mascara. Very long lasting and full. (I did get these as a sample, so I have no idea what they cost)
What I'm using now, courtesy of BzzAgent, is Maybelline's Great Lash Lots of Lashes. It's not bad for a single step mascara. It has a plastic brush which I've never had success with until now. It was non clumpy for me and long lasting with no smudges. I think it is supposed to be a new product from them.
I tend to prefer 2 step mascara's... Obviously. I think they are less clumpy and sticky for some reason. I will say that every fresh tube of mascara is going to be a bit clumpy no matter what, so try to scrape off a little excess.
Can you tell I like mascara? Lol...
This! I wanted to recommend mine, but couldn't remember what it's called. I think this is the one I use, and I really like it!
I used to always use Clinique high impact mascara - but it is a thicker formula, therefore may seem clumpy perhaps.
I actually got a tube of the Lash doubling mascara and it is not clumpy at all.
For some reason Mascara is the one make-up item that I go high end with.
You've got one back!
I've recently started using the "Falsies" mascara from Maybelline and I love it. I haven't had any clumping issues at all and it doesn't smudge.
I've also had great luck with Clinique High Impact mascara.
