DWTS 11/8 *spoilers*
I really did not like the opening dance with all the female dancers. They looked like strippers instead of ballroom dancers.
I liked Nancy overall, but I think it's good she's not in the semi-finals. On the other hand, I can't stand Hope and I wish she'd been kicked off a while ago. I feel pretty sure JR is going to win. I'm kind of glad about that though because it's about time Karina won.

Nancy should have been gone a long time ago, or at the very least, last week. I won't even get into what I think of her as a person, but she did better than I thought she would.
I can't stand Hope, and thought that she should have been gone a while ago, but she really has improved as a dancer (as they all do when it reaches this point) and is a much better dancer than Nancy Grace.
I'm pretty sure that JR is going to win, but I would rather see Ricki win. They are both good dancers and each has their strengths, but Ricki brings artistry and an emotional element that I really love.
I don't know about it being 'about time' Karina won. I think she's just finally figured out what she needs to bring to the competition and really upped her game to become a contender. She has gotten a lot better as a teacher and as a choreographer, and I think she seems like a much nicer person than she used to. Maybe she's just matured a bit (or a lot) in the past couple of years, but she seems to really have come into her own. I've been impressed by her choreography this season....most of it has been really good. Sometimes it seems like the women have a harder time choreographing for the men, and make themselves more important than the 'star', but she has done a great job of showcasing JR.
i thought hope's jive on monday was horrible! it looked like she made LOADS of mistakes, but the judges just gushed about how great the dance was. even hope was surprised they liked it. i also think she should have been gone a long time ago. imo, she's not really very likable.
on the other hand, i've liked nancy grace more than i thought i would. her partner really seems not to, though, which i find amusing. but it was past time nancy went home.
I thought this same thing! She seemed so uncoordinated!
I still think Chynna should still be there, definitely over Hope. It was for sure Nancy's time to go.
I think you can tell who of the pros is a good teacher by how far they get. Not always (Tony is a great teacher, but often gets stuck with bad contestants), but a lot of the time. You can tell Derek is a great teacher, Julianne was too. I'm sure a lot of it depends on the chemistry between the two, but some people are just good dance teachers.

I agree with this. I thought she hasn't done very well the past two weeks and can't understand why the judges are going nuts for her, especially Len. It definitely was past the time for Nancy to go, but I am really hoping Hope is next. I think she just looks awkward when she dances.
I want Hope to stick around to the finals, if only b/c I like looking at Maks.
But I am doing all of my phone in calls to JR.

I also cannot stand Cheryl Burke. She ALWAYS gets the cutest guy (asks for him) and she irritates me.....
I agree. I actually used a couple of DH's votes for Rob, because I wanted to help him hopefully get ahead of Hope and Nancy.lol
I can't be sucked in by the self centered, 'I should get better scores because I worked hard'. So did everyone else.
I get tired of the 'the judges are so critical' remarks, and the audience booing honest, constructive criticism.
