I'm cutting myself off the cookies
I might need a support group. That is all.
Re: I'm cutting myself off the cookies
If it makes you feel any better I ate icing out of a can this morning. Luckily I know myself and my lack of self control so after taking two HUGE bites of icing I threw it in the trash face down with the lid off.
The key was keeping the lid off.
Because had the lid been on I am embarrassed to admit that I probably would have eaten a few more bites despite that fact I had thrown the can in the trash.
But it was good. So good. Cream cheese icing. Yuuuummmmmm.

I, too, have ZERO self control. Well, I have either 100% control of 0% control. There is no in between. So I can either say, "nope, I won't touch that." or "I won't stop until there is NO pie left."
So yeah, I'm with ya. I have had to give away goodies or throw them out a time or two to rid me of the temptation.
Plus working from home... yay, that sh!t stares me in the face.

OK I feel a little better now but it was rough there for a bit earlier. I usually have a little self control but these chocolate chip numbers are just too much for me to have around. I'm definately looking forward to enjoying some lactation cookies in my somewhat near future:)
And Jen, I'm pretty sure in the meantime I "need" that recipe for those apple pie bites!
Oh yes, teaching them not to waste is also a very important lesson. Naturally.
