What are some of the first screen names that you remember seeing? Jen/June2008JC (or some such thing) and Janks are the ones I remember from way back then.
Did you change your screen name in the switch over to the Nest? Nope. I thought about it, but I like my jumble of a name
Do you ever see yourself giving this place up? Only if everyone else does or I get bored with it. Doesn't look like either is happening anytime soon.

How long have you been on the Knot/Nest? Since Nov. 2007. I started on the Election 08 board right after I got engaged. I ventured onto theknot a few weeks before the wedding and then afterwards until we got moved here.
What are some of the first screen names that you remember seeing? They are all E08 nesties. From here I remember janks, curtis&kellie and trickey off the top of my head. It's more about the fact that those nesties lived in places near me or places I used to live and I remember their locations.
Did you change your screen name in the switch over to the Nest? Nope
Do you ever see yourself giving this place up? Yes. For various reasons but nothing relating to the people. Nesting is my release at work and occasionally in the evenings. As things in my life get busier, I find myself not on here as much. I know that once we move and other things start happening, I will have less and less time. I do find myself lurking on F&B and PC&E for the information I can get from those boards quickly.
ETA: The first question made me realize that our 4 year Engagement Anniversary is next week. So I've been here 4 years.
What are some of the first screen names that you remember seeing? Rangergal is the first one I remember seeing.
I also remember Crystal-- does anyone else remember her? She ended up calling off her wedding but she did a ton of the technical stuff for our board.
Did you change your screen name in the switch over to the Nest? I changed my name before that actually, right after I thought it might not be such a good idea to have my full last name in my sn. Then I had to change again because a crazy girl at my job started stalking me (that's why I took a break around the weddings). Then I had to change again because the special characters in my sn were effing up my siggy. I hope to never change again! Whew.

Did you change your screen name in the switch over to the Nest? I did. I use to be MissJsoon2bMrsA or something long and obnoxious. I shortened it up.
Do you ever see yourself giving this place up? I always think I should and I try and it doesn't last. I think if I gave this place up I would replace it with another internet hobby anyway.

I would still keep up with you through personal contact/ FB even if I stopped posting one day.

Did you change your screen name in the switch over to the Nest? Nope. I also decided that Miller was generic enough of a last name not to worry about
Do you ever see yourself giving this place up? I'm with Alicia on this one; I mostly lurk/post occassionally, and I see myself dropping off significantly when other aspects of life take over (like after baby is born and I'm back at work). But I do enjoy it, so I may still lurk/stealth post from work.

Did you change your screen name in the switch over to the Nest? I did. My name before was AllieCat1210. I chose it because it was an old nickname that my dad used to call me, but I really don't like cats, and it didn't really fit. (no offense, cat people. I like my dog. And I'm allergic to cats).
Do you ever see yourself giving this place up? I actually did, once. When we were in Chicago I couldn't nest at work and got really busy during the evenings and just couldn't keep up. So, I left for about 4 months. I came back shortly before we moved and I'm so glad I did. You guys were friends that I could move with me to CA, which eased the transition when I knew no one. I just can't quit you.

I don't really remember you girls during wedding planning, mostly my locals - but obviously I was on here. And I have no idea how that came about. So to answer the question I think 678Sara is the first girl I remember.

I'm not sure what my actual sign up date was...but you ladies can see that. I started lurking after we got engaged in June 07. I lurked for a LONG time...like maybe 2 years before I started posting.

I don't really remember screen names from the planning days, but I would be able to recgonize people based on their planning bios!

Not unless everybody else gave it up and it got really slow. But I really hope that doesn't happen. I know that I've mentioned that I don't have many IRL friends, so you ladies help to fill that void!

Do you ever see yourself giving this place up? I've taken breaks before. It was hard for me to come around after my loss and I got busy after Molly was born. But now that I can post from my phone I can nest on my lunch break. I don't see that changing anytime soon. Like pp I would still keep up on fb at least.
