Thank You's - should I mention . . .
I had a second interview for an analyst position yesterday with 7 people, followed by an excel exercise. I think I did fine in the interviews, but I only had less than 30 minutes for the excel portion and feel my skills are very poorly represented by it. I kind of froze up, and by the time I figured out a good approach I was short on time. There were certain excel skills they had mentioned in the interview which I can do, but didn't get to demonstrate in the exercise. Should I address this in the Thank You? I was thinking of wording it:
"I was just curious if it would be possible to get a copy of the excel exercise. I wasn't able to finish it and I have been contemplating my approach as I feel it poorly represented my excel skills, so I would love to be able to rework it for my own content."
I don't want them to think that I don't have the excel skills I said I did...
