Family Tree Design

Has anyone ever designed/made their own family tree? I'd like to create one for my MIL, but I'm trying to figure out how to design it so that she can add names to it later (e.g. grandchildren). If anyone has any ideas to share, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

Re: Family Tree Design

  • I haven't done this yet, but I have a goal to do it for myself and my MIL and Mom.

Find a picture of a tree-- just google something like tree silhouette or tree clip art.
Print it off in the size you want and then you could add small cut out shapes of leaves in whatever color, (or an inked finger print of each person) and write their names on them.  I saw it on pinterest

  • Thanks! That's actually what I started doing. I found a tree silhouette on google and started editing it in Photoshop (to change the colors, etc). We'll see how it turns out. :)
