Stolen from P&CE- gay penguins
Re: Stolen from P&CE- gay penguins
"Part of the reason penguins tend to be so picky about their mates, he said, is because rearing chicks is ?one of the hardest working times of their lives,? McGowan said."
Penguins are smarter than humans.
so true.

Smarter, sometimes cute and sometimes better dressed.
I'd love to examine their prefrontal cortexes.
I am curious though, one of these little guys is already 20, that's max life expectancy. Obviously they think his genes are still good, but he won't be around to rear his chicks, and even if he is, it seems unlikely that he'll live long enough to do all that, and get back to his partner.
Maybe they'll do a penguin surrogacy and the penguins partners can raise the chick.
why did you have to bring that up!? I dont like thinking about this elderly gay penguin, who may have finally found his life mate, just to be separated for reproductive purposes, and then die before he gets back to his lobster.
Sounds like a lifetime movie actually...
