Not having to work on Christmas!  I'm looking forward to spending time with my family most of all on Christmas Day breakfast and New Years Day dinner.

We won't find out until baby arrives!

When we moved in this past August, we knew I was pregnant so we only put the guest bed in the 'nursery' so we wouldn't have to deal with moving things later.  Honestly, just last weekend I started looking at cribs and such.  I'm not a really big design person so we will likely just have an espresso coloured crib and dresser (or change table) and then maybe have a monkey theme.

I didn't end up posting about my reveal.

My family was pretty excited although they had all pretty much figured it out.  That, plus my nosy aunt did call my family and say she saw me at the hospital so that was pretty annoying.  Dad's gf didn't say anything about seeing me at the hospital (she couldn't due to confidentiality reasons) but when I finally saw her the following weekend she thought I was mad at her that she had come to sit down because I guess I turned away and turned all red.  Well, yeah, when someone is at the hospital for diagnostic testing, they probably don't want people walking up to them, right?  And I was just shocked that we couldn't catch a break and have no one see me at the hospital.  I told her I wasn't mad.

H's family is excited.  His Mom cried and that made me uncomfortable.  She also proceeded to say a couple of negative things regarding her pregnancy (which I was expecting) but my FIL tried to shut her down.

I started running cross country in the 5th grade when the cc coach saw me just running around like crazy playing intramural soccer and recruited me.  I just kept it up after that.  The funny thing is, in grade school and high school I only ran during the school year and ONLY when I had to for practices or meets.  I didn't really run for my own pleasure.  I stopped running after highschool and then picked it up again maybe 3-4 years later.  Now I absolutely LOVE running.

I started looking at baby names this past weekend but we haven't discussed them too seriously yet.  The only things I know for sure is that for a girl, her middle name would be Lyn after my Mom.

    My craziest customer experience...

I was working at a pharmacy beside a rural doctor's office.  This lady comes in and asks for some rubbing alcohol since she was out.  She had used it all while she was delivering her sister's baby.  Since it was a home birth, she had to bring the mother and baby into the doctor to make sure everything was okay.  As I'm turning around, she says 'and here's the placenta' and I turn around to her holding up a grocery bag filled of afterbirth.  It was so horrifying!  And then it was time for lunch.

Hmmmm....most messed up script?  Even the most odd things start to look normal after a while.  SUPER high doses of oxycontin.  And most things might look strange but then you find out there is an off label use like sildenafil (Viagra) for pulmonary hypertenstion and things like that.

I'm glad it went well, Beth!
