Something to make a 10 y/o boy for christmas
Re: Something to make a 10 y/o boy for christmas
This is sort of like the scarf and you'll need to be crafty to make this, but how about an animal hood? I think a boy would love it in a bear or dinosaur or other "scary" creature.
Like this one, but more for a kid
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
What about just a regular scarf or a hat?
I think a 10 year old boy is a bit old for an animal hat/scarf...he would likely be laughed off the playground.
Probably true... I don't have kids yet, so listen to TheBridesMom!!!

It depends on what he is into really....
robe
pajama bottoms
an organizer for art stuff
electronics case
Depends on the ten year old. My almost ten year old would adore an animal hat. I made him a Gir hoodie last year and all his friends thought it was the coolest shiit ever.
You should find out what he's into because that will be the difference between awesome and the geek squad.
You could also do a regular fleece hat and line it in fabric from something that appeals to him. Like pete would love me forever if I made him a brown fleece hat lined with Michael Miller's Dyno fabric. He would think that was the best thing ever. There are all kinds of prints available on etsy that would appeal to a ten year old boy. Dinosaurs, lizards, aliens, etc. If he has a favorite band, you could even cut up a tee shirt to make a hat or a scarf or you can buy an applique, make a patch, etc.

The whole point of this post was that I wasn't going to make him a animal scarf, I agree he would be shoved in the dirt. Maybe I will just buy him something but he is kind of different/hard to buy for.
