Dr appt.
I saw my OB today.He was happy to see me again and gave instructions once again. Since my last cycle was weird, he scheduled me for an u/s next tuesday to date the pregnancy. My nausea has been so out of control this time around that he prescribed a med to help with that. Now, I just have to keep busy and hope the days go by fast so that I can see this little person growing inside me. He actually gave me the option of going in tomorrow morning, but since he said it would be an external u/s, I'd rather wait a week and give the little human time to grow a little more.

Sorry you're not feeling well...I was sick with Ava but not like this...hopefully yours ends much sooner than mine has.
I'm surprised that they'll do an external even when your about 7weeks because I figured it would be harder but boy would that be nice to have haha

LSUmommy4- My dr is weird with the u/s. But I love the way he is and he did a great job with my csection that I won't leave. I'm just thankful I get one next week rather than having to wait until 15 weeks like he usually does. I guess if he can't see the baby or something looks off he'll repeat another one. Oh, and I hope you feel better soon if you still feel sick. I totally know what you mean of feeling worst this time around. Ugh! I feel sick ALL day! Last time I would feel sick in the mornings and a little at night.
I'm all for seeing the baby earlier haha and you're right if they can't see (would the tech then switch to the transvaginal? or just do another one a week later?)
I would NOT be able to wait until 15 weeks man! I hate it that I only get one at 8 and then the 20 week one.
I was spoiled last time with getting one every week for the last 8 weeks due to the extra fluid and got one at 24 weeks when they couldn't get all of the heart in the 20 week one.
It's so reassuring though...and I guess I should be grateful that I feel sick because then at least things are going well but I feel flutters now so it can stop haha
And I hope it stops for you because the whole day thing sucks especially then going home and trying to take care of gigi at night
I'm not sure if the tech would do the transvaginal if she couldn't see anything from the outside and I didn't ask. Boo. Well, too bad, now I have to wait until next Tuesday.
Yeah I was spoiled last time too :-) The first one I had done was at 5 weeks, but it was done in mexico and God knows I will not cross over right now with all that violence just so that I can get an u/s when I can wait a few weeks. It's been so hard to control myself but I've done a good job so far. Then, this I requested one at 7 or 8 weeks with this dr (last pregnancy) and he was nice enough to do me one. Then we did one between 15-20 weeks at his office and since we couldn't see her parts, a friend of my husband who is a sono tech did one for us. At around 25-and ? weeks I had 2 more because some of my lab work came back as if she migh have down syndrom so I had to go with a specialist who did the last two u/s. Oh well, I'm just glad I'll get to see baby next Tuesday, and I guess the less you see the baby the better he/she is doing.
