Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thank you.

A question for the Tech savvy people

I'm trying to access the DPS website to take a survey about our move but I keep getting the Certificate Error page. When I click "Continue to the website (not recommended)" nothing happens.

I've tried changing my security settings and adding a special Key but still get the error page and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?? I'm starting to get very very angry! TIA!

  • Did you close the browser out and re-open?  The exception may not take effect until the browser is re-opened.

Yes. I've restarted the browser after every attempt to fix the problem.

  • What browser are you using?

  • The site is only compatible with Explorer.
  • Go to Internet Options and click on the Content tab.

    Click on Certificates.

Is there a Certificate for the website you're trying to access?

  • I don't think there is a certificate for it, but it all looks like a foreign language to me.
  • That happened to me a few months ago when I was trying to access my AKO account from my personal computer. One day it worked and the next day it wouldnt let me get past the login page. I went into trouble shooting (on the AKO website) and found the file to download the security certificates and now it works fine.

    Good luck!
