Sorry I keep talking about my uterus
, but I know some people are genuinely concerned and curious so I thought I'd update.
The HSG went fine. It was more painful than a pap smear, but less painful than what I imagine a contraction feels like. Everything looks normal. No tears or scaring anywhere. Tubes totally in tact. I don't feel fabulous right now, but I'm going to go take a hot bath.
I got strawberry yogurt on the way home.
Re: f/u: HSG
I'm glad it went okay! That's kind of how I felt about mine- it didn't feel good by any stretch, but it wasn't the worst thing ever, advil was sufficient.
Enjoy your strawberry yogurt and curl up with a heating pad and a good movie!

You really don't have to keep apologizing.... none of us do!

Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
We're just going to keep on keepin on. We're going to wait until the spring before we go back to the RE, so hopefully something will happen between now and then...
Agreed! Glad your well! Enjoy relaxation!
Glad everything went well! Fingers crossed that you wont have to go back to the RE
I'm so glad it went well and wasn't all that painful for you !
I'm not going to lie, mine was extremely painful (which is why I didn't say anything about it before you had yours- didn't want to scare you). They also didn't have any stirrups or anything for my feet so I had to have nurses hold them down on a table. Not sure if that added to the awefulness.
Annnnyways, I'm so so glad there is no blockages. I'm not sure if they told you this or not but sometimes, having the HSG actually helps (vs. just being diagnostic). Some people have a mucus clot that may have been blocking stuff & it's not the type of blockage that is able to be seen on the HSG. Anyways, the pressure of the dye being pumped through your ute & tube can dislodge it and some people are able to get pregnant on their own afterwards. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of those but you never know !!! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you will not need to see the RE again !

This is very true! Good luck!

Mrs.Mo and khart,
I've heard this from many many people. I'm going to try not to get my hopes up too much, but maybe I just needed a little vacuuming out. Here's hoping.
Everyone,
Thanks for the kind words and baby dust. It truly means a lot to me. I love y'all!
