How to shop for a new TV?
Our 3-yr old LG flatscreen is showing signs of an early death. As such, DH is already getting starry-eyed thinking about the next TV (bigger, of course). What are some good resources for researching TVs and comparing the different options? We'll look at Consumer Reports, but wondering if there are any other good sites or sources...
Looking for info like brand preferences, plasma vs lcd, 3 hdmi vs 4 hdmi, features to get, features to skip, etc.
Re: How to shop for a new TV?
We have 2 Samsung LED tvs, & love them. We got them for a steal last black Friday.
I would definitely watch the Black Friday deals.
I don't know a lot about tvs but I do know that plasma's are basically a waste of money. They have a certain numbers of hours it will last and that's it. Whereas you will get more use out of a LED or LCD. LED probably lasts longer out of the 3 though.
We love cnet.com they have product reviews and really good info. When we bought our last TV that is how we decided.
