XH redeeming himself a bit

Woke up to an email from XH--a fwd from Sirius satellite radio.  As subscribers, we're eligible for 2 free tickets (1 ticket, 1 guest) to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra tomorrow night in PA!  XH knows that I love TSO and have been trying to see them perform live for years.

I entered the contest for free tix--fingers crossed that I get them and DILF and I can have a fun night out :)

  • That was nice of him! GL I hope you get the tickets!!!
  • That was nice of him, but I hope he doesn't expect to take you as his date! lol

Btw, I love TSO too!  I've seen them live the past few years and they always put on an awesome show.

Hell no!  He probably thinks I'll take my mom or something since he recently described me as a "child who ran away from a marriage like a 10th grade breakup who lives with her parents and doesn't have a job"

MCC - good luck getting tixs.  Thanks for the idea.  I am thinking I may get my parents this as their Holiday gift.

Haines - I am looking at the Newark Prudential Center for tixs for my parents.  And since you have seen them in concert, can you tell me the better seats to buy?  I know with particular artists you may want to sit up close b/c you get a better view of the performer, themselves.  But, I always thought with a show like TSO, you'd be okay sitting upwards and towards to back (say directly across from the stage) to get a wide view of the lights and stage; b/c you don't necessarily need to see a single performer.  Or am I judging wrong in this case?  Please let me know.

I agree that you don't need to sit close up to the stage and further back would actually be better.  They do a lot of pyrotechnics, so you want a wider view of the stage.
