I have posted some questions over the past few weeks about interviewing/following up. Fast forward to Tuesday night. One of my employees meet the director that interviewed me from company B. (They meet at a round table event for an organization similar to big brothers and big sisters) The hiring director asked my employee a lot of questions about me. (Professional and personal questions) 1. Is this standard? 2. My employee is now asking me tons of questions regarding this man. I tried blowing it off and explaining it as a networking opportunity. My employee told our team yesterday that he thought I would be resigning before the end of the year. Any advice?
Another old nestie with a new name.
Re: Uncomfortable
1. No idea, but it sounds inappropriate, and I can't believe the director wasn't more discreet
2. I'd just keep your head down. And I'd seriously reconsider if offered a job at Company B.
