School Thanksgiving Luncheon Vent
Today we have our annual staff Thanksgiving Luncheon. We were going to wait and do it next Thursday but our cafeteria is doing their annual Thanksgiving lunch so we didn't want that falling on the same day. I've sent out reminders and my Principal met with everyone and reminded them to bring stuff. We always divide up grade levels so we know who's bringing what and to make sure there's even amounts of items.
Well its the Office staff's job to provide the meat and gravy, so we all pitched in $20 and purchased 2 turkeys and 2 hams. My Sister cooked the Turkeys and we brought the hams to be cooked in the cafeteria this morning. I sent out an e-mail to let everyone know to bring in their sides/desserts and we would be setting up the lounge. Low and behold I get a lot of "I forgot it at home", "oh no! I thought it was tomorrow".....SERIOUSLY PEOPLE!?!?
I'm pissed.
