so our vegas trip in two weeks consists of: landing LATE friday night..11-ish pm, not much time to do much, esp since h and i both work at 5am on friday. saturday morning/lunch, i'm responsible for taking pregnant little wifey out for her "bachlorette day", at night, she's going with a few girls to see the katy perry concert. sunday morning/afternoon is the wedding. sunday evening, we fly out...
last weekend, my cousins/friends started talking about throwing my brother a bachelor party on saturday night. h was in the conversation, but he was passive about it. h is allergic to most alcohol (hops specifically, and some other ingredient we can't pinpoint)...so he hates drinking..but my brother/cousins LOVE drinking. they are the party-all-night, throw up all over the place, flash money to show people how rich they are/how much more alcohol they can buy, loud, obnoxious, drunks.. h really has no interest in going.....but.....that's his brother-in-law.
h would be the *only* sane person there...all the friends/cousins that are going are going w/o their kids, so it's their "chance" to get crazy.....h will either stay sober/few drinks, and get made fun of all night, or pressured into drinking a lot (which happens...it's a bachelor party...c'mon). if he doesn't go, he'd probably get made fun......
if my h goes, i'll have plenty to do on sat night...i'm "friends" (more aquaintances) with some of the wives, and my parents will be there... i don't know what the wives have planned, or what my parents have planned (my dad probably has poker tables in mind).....

Re: clicky: does my h have to go? (long)
This. At the very least he needs to make an appearance.

I agree. He can always show up for a bit and then leave, but not going at all might create hard feelings, and that sucks to have to deal with later.

Agreed. Just say not to peer pressure!

I agree with this.
