I hate when I feel a cold coming on

It's just constant dread of the inevitable.

I think my friends' baby gave me his cold over the weekend.  My throat got really dry a couple of days ago but I was hoping it was just too much salt or something.  Today I feel the starts of a runny nose and head congestion.

Ugh.

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: I hate when I feel a cold coming on

  • I am just starting to feel a little better today; DS and I have had colds all week. This particular cold made my head feel like it weighed 40lbs. It was really weird.

Drink lots of water and take Vitamin C! Hopefully it never gets too bad for you!

  • I got slammed with one cold after another for 2 months prior to my wedding. Right up until my wedding day I was taking Zicam like it was candy. Awful.

It did seem to work though I lost my sense of taste for a few days, which totally freaked me out.

I think you all know how this would be like the inner circle of hell for me.

  • I hate that too.  Drink lots of water, take your vitamins, and get some rest.  Maybe you can fight it off!
