The Sing Off!
I was so annoyed with the judges. I think the producers pick before the show even starts who is going home because in one of Ben Folds' blog posts he wrote that Kinfolk 9 did a great job the night they were kicked out but they already knew they wanted them to go home...
Anyway, Nick said "dreams" will be crushed about 5 times (Delilah sang "Dream On") maybe I am reading too much into his puns but I called it.
I HATE Urban Method, I don't understand why they like them. The rapper is good but the lead singer is sooo shrill and did a horrible Carrie Underwood. SIGH...
I liked Delilah (
) and Pentatonix was great. Vocal Point and Dartmouth Aires were very good as well!
Re: The Sing Off!
I was ready to go to bed, and I think the show is too long, so I only watched the performances and the elimination, fast forwarding through the judges and other crap.
The "country" song choices were awful, and I really think that could have been done better with different songs. I was thinking some Diamond Rio, Alabama, or even the Dixie Chicks would have been more appropriate.
The rock songs were okay for the most part, although I did love "Dream on".
ugh, urban method is TERRIBLE. i'm so mad about delilah getting sent home, because they have the raw talent, but they've had a few mistakes. where urban method has been awful for weeks now, and JUST got to a place where their girls don't totally suck.
i'm on team pentatonix 4 life.

I'm an episode behind but sad to hear that Delilah went home! Although they've been a little hit or miss since the show started so I guess maybe it was time.
I'd be fine with a Pentatonix/Dartmouth Aires finale. If I could fast forward video on demand, they are really the only two groups I watch.

I can't stand Afro Blue and Urban Method. Urban Method was terrible this episode and Afro Blue just annoys the crap out of me!

The earlier responses made me laugh for two reasons. 1. I thought EXACTLY the same thing as the first poster about Urban Method. To my ears, their lead female singer has an incredibly shrill voice--not a pretty one. Myke is great, but the rest of the group is very mediocre when a song isn't written to make him shine (what I said at the very beginning of it all.)
2. I too fast forward through the majority of the show--I just watch the performances and the judges commentary. It could EASILY be a 1 hour show if they were to cut all the extras.
I was VERY sad for Delilah--I agree with whoever said they had great raw talent. I mean, they only came together for this season of the show, right? Afro Blue is very hit or miss for me. I HATED their Janet medley last week, but actually liked their "American Girl" this week. I can't even remember what their country song was....
