Closing This Afternoon...I Hope!
Everything has come down to the 11th hour. The underwriters wanted another pay stub and bank statements...pay day isn't until tomorrow, accounting did us a favor and got us the check early. Stressing though because we were approved based on DH's base salary but his training salary (reflected on the first week of this check) was $400 a month lower so this check is a lot lower than future checks that will have normal base pay plus all his flying hours...hoping this doesn't screw us/delay closing. His pay structure is kind of complicated because there's base pay, a stipend for months he does medical flying, 2 different hourly rates for flight hours depending on whether it's medical or corporate charter....ack! Oh and the seller is a wackidoodle and has been through this whole process and is already wigging out that we moved closing from 10 am to 3:30 so if it's a delay of days/weeks, she may pull out altogether. The processor says everything is going well but since it's coming down to the last minute (docs due in by 1 optimistically, we close at 3:30) I'm completely stressing! Someone please talk me off the ledge! Wish I had some wine about now...
