I'm looking for diffrent things to have for Thanksgiving. If your hosting T-day this year whats on your menu? If your going to eat at someone elses house, what are you bringing?

I'm not exactly sure what we'll be having yet, but we do go very heavy on the veggie sides. Besides the staples of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and rolls, we always have butternut squash puree, roasted beets and fresh cranberry relish. The other sides get switched up every year, but its often things like asparagus, corn casserole, green beans, broccoli, glazed carrots, etc. I like to try out a new dish or two every year.

We haven't decided if we will go to my mom's or not. If we do, I will bring corn salad, cornbread casserole, and maybe bacon wrapped greenbeans.
If I do it at home I will have all the staples, but with 2 stuffings/gravys, giblet and non giblet. I think I will try and make a sweet potato casserole for the first time, (if you have a recipe I would love it). I will also make cornbread casserole, corn salad, greenbean casserole, and here is where I need more ideas!
My dessert will most likely come from Publix!
I just looked at those rolls, and I think even I could do them! I've never thought about making rolls before, but I just might try them! Thanks!
My hubs is making the Alton Brown turkey... it is seriously, s'good!
As for sides, I usually do a green bean casserole, broc and cheese casserole, rolls, mashed potatoes. I watching Giada at home today and I plan on making pumpkin and goat cheese risotto and this yummy roasted pear/walnut salad. I would like to do the turkey she did as well but we will see. It was cut up and covered in cranberry orange glaze.
For desserts, I am doing my Grandma's apple pie and maybe a pecan pie. Yum yum!
We celebrate at H's parents in NC but I will be making my nana's stuffing.
It is basically 2 bags of pepperidge farm stuffing (the cubed kind and the regular dressing kind), mixed with ground beef with onions. It is so good, I can eat it for a whole meal. I can't have thanksgiving without it.
