How many tv's in your house (that you use)
DH and I were talking about this last night since I want to get a tv for upstairs. We currently have 1 tv in our family room and nothing else. None in the bedrooms, etc. Both of us are dvring shows and it's preventing us from watching something else if we don't want to watch what we're recording. (usually 2 things at once).
So: How many tv's in your house that you use on a regular basis?

Re: How many tv's in your house (that you use)
Shamefully we have 3.
In our defense, buying two tvs (one in the family room, one in DH's man cave) was cheaper than marriage counseling. The third is just pathetic - in our master bath so I can get my Matt Lauer on in the morning.

We make the rockin' world go 'round.
we just have one tv in our basement and it gets turned on about twice a week. we used to have one in the living room, but it didn't get used that much either. since Warner was born, we basically stopped watching tv and really haven't missed it at all.
we do watch the Daily Show pretty much every night, but we watch it on my computer.

we have two, but just last week we had three. we currently have one in our bedroom, one in the family room in the basement. we used to have one in the living room, but it didn't have cable and we never used it so we gave it away.
i like to watch tv while i nurse, and since i've done that for four of the six years we've lived here, it's important to me to have a tv in our bedroom (since that's where i nurse). i also like to have the news on in the morning.
DH and DS mostly use the family room tv. DS can operate it himself now, and watches cartoons on weekend mornings.
We have two...DH's HDTV giant baby in the basement with a DVR hook up for watching all things sports.
i have a small craigs list purchase tv in the kitchen for watching the news and catching up on some show while making dinner or cleaning the kitchen OR having something to watch while DH is watching sports (see above).
i could live without TV a bit i think but DH sell the dog before not having ESPN or WGN at home. i even tried the "you can watch it online" idea before and no go.
