Suggestions for Wedding Photo Christmas Cards?

Hi (again) ladies!

Since we just got married in Oct., I was thinking it would be fun to order Christmas cards with one or more of our photos on it. Have any of you ever done that and have recommendations for sites to use? I just scoped out Shutterfly, and really liked them, but I don't like that it has their logo on the back of the cards! I'm not paying for them to advertise. I want a site where I can upload my own photos. Vistaprint had some descent ones, too. Any thoughts or advice you can share would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: Suggestions for Wedding Photo Christmas Cards?

  • I've used snapfish, shutterfly & seehere for cards. This year I bought an image from etsy & am sending it out as just a picture.

If you wanted to go the etsy route, I love GrahamCrackerDesigns - it's a dear friends shop, and she'll work with you to get you exactly what you're looking for. She designed a picture for me to put in my girls play kitchen area that *I* love (& don't mind having in my dining room) & that J thanked me for buying for her (it was too cute).

However, I just ordered my card from andreagerigdesigns b/c MH picked out the card. I haven't seen it printed yet, so I can't say how her designs pint up.

  • Thanks for the insight! When you used shutterfly and/or snapfish, did they in fact print their logo on the back of the cards?
  • I honestly don't remember on the photocards - I *think* that it has snapfish & an order number maybe printed on the back - in the dot matrix looking type.

I'm pretty sure the folded cards I'd ordered a couple years ago had the snapfish logo on the back.

the pictures I ordered today gave me an option to have something on the back & I made it blank

  • You know who also has cute ones?  www.tinyprints.com

I honestly think most places will have their logo on them, though.

  • i always use shutterfly.  good prices, and great quality.

I believe the folded cards do have their logo on the back, and postcards have an order number or image name on the back.  it doesn't bother me.

  • We usually do Shutterfly for our cards and yes logo is on the back - that will be true if you do it anywhere but on your own. You could also try to design your own and use photo paper if you want to avoid logos?
