BWLO: double stroller recs?

Any recs for double strollers?  We currently have the UppaBaby Vista & love it, but I don't picture Mads loving the idea of the rumble seat in the back & am leaning more towards selling it & buying a side-by-side double.  What do you have that you love?  Thanks :)

Re: BWLO: double stroller recs?

  • We have a maclaren double stroller we got from a friend. My sister has one very similar and she loves it. Ours actually reclines. So we will be able to use it fairly early with Madison as she will be able to lay back in her seat. I'll have tofind a picture of why we have

  • We have the Baby Jogger City Select.... and I LOVE it!  Its so versatile!  Its a single stroller that you buy a second seat attachment.  There is also a car seat attachment so you can have one regular seat and one car seat (you cannot do this with the Maclaren that was posted earlier).  I don't know about you, but being able to leave the baby in the car seat when going out was a must for me!  I can also make it a single stroller when out with just one of the twins, or just Abby.  Abby is almost 3 and fits great in it... she loves it!  Its expensive, but so worth it!
  • I don't have one, but I've got my eye on the Joovy Caboose.

  • I also have the Baby Jogger City Select.  We're just using is as a single for now, but specifically bought it because we liked the options as a double.  We also considered the Britax B-Ready but liked the configurations with the Baby Jogger better.  The kid in back is elevated so that they can still see well.  Plus like Ranger said, you can use a car seat and a regular seat or 2 regular seats - facing backward or forward.

My only complaint about the City Select is that our Chicco Keyfit carseat doesn't fit well in the adapter bar.  I mostly use the bassinett for now (which is sold separately).

Did you get the Chicco adapter bar?  I just ask because there is the universal one for like all the other car seats and then a special one for just the Chicco!

  • My mom has the Joovy Caboose that Nicole mentioned for when she was daycaring Kodi and my niece.  The front part of the stoller has a bar attachment thing so you can set an infant seat in the front part while the toddler sits or stands in the back part.  She seemed to like it a lot and is going to be passing it on to me now that she's not watching 2 grandkids anymore.
