Ugh, what a joke
I got the job I interviewed for last week. Except, it pays less than the one I have now. I have to run the numbers but I am pretty sure I won't take it even though I really want it. My income right now it pretty low so going lower is a joke. I also told them I was going through a divorce and spousal maintenance was a big issue. If I take something that pays less, it could (and will) be used against me.
I'll see with them if they can keep my salary the same at least. If not, I plan to let them now I really want the job but I'll have to look for something else in the meantime. Ugh, I hate to be in this situation.
