who picks the paint colors for your house?

I usually do. I run them by my husband but I always make the final call. He's always said he's been happy with the choices.

We can't agree on a color for our living room. It's driving me nuts. I've found 3 colors I love and WANT (1 of the 3), he hates them.
We have our first home owner fix it issue (leaking kitchen sink) and he's going to the store to get something to fix it. I also gave him the instructions to pick a color for the living room. I may or may not agree with it. I'm a bit nervous he'll fight hard for whatever color he chooses. I hope it's nice.

So, this made me wonder who picks the colors for your house? You? Him? The two of you together- pretty even?

We decide together. Usually I pick out colors first that I like, but he adds his opinion and will pick up others if he doesn't like the ones I have found.

It is all me. When I was picking out colors for this house, I ran the choices by him, but he didn't have anything to say. I've learned that he really doesn't have strong opinions on home decor, as long as I like it. Although, I'm sure if I wanted to paint a room bubblegum pink he'd have something to say! Smile

H has vetoed a couple of my choices but more or less I pick them.

We went through a bunch of paint samples before deciding on the main color for our house (open concept so it's everywhere.) I knew pretty much what I wanted and DH didn't like it but eventually gave in. He has since conceded that the color is really nice and what he wanted would have looked terrible.

When we bought our house we painted every room before moving in. We picked the colors together, we went through a ton of different samples to do this and some disagreements but in the end we were both very happy with all the colors we ended up with!

Mostly me. Sometimes I try to involve DH, sometimes I don't bother because he doesn't really care, haha. I let him pick the paint color for our office by himself, and it is BRIGHT blue.

) I don't mind, it's a fun color and will get re-painted someday. When we did the basement, he gave me about 95% control over everything. I tried to get his opinion, but ultimately he doesn't care as long as it's comfy (that was his 5%), so I got to pick it all. I did drag him along most of the time though.
