Morning ladies!
What are your Friday and weekend plans?
Is it a holiday where you are?
Re: Happy Friday!
Hi again!
It's a holiday here, and of course M woke me up at 6:30. Not sure what we will do today, almost everything is closed.
Tonight I'm going out with some girlfriends for dinner an then to a club. H was out last night, so tonight is my turn!
We may go mushroom picking on the weekend if our friend who knows about mushrooms is available.
Right now I'm working on some crochet baby mitten for someone. I'm about to hop in the shower and get ready for the Britney Spears concert tonight! It's about an hour drive to Abu Dhabi so we're leaving a little early. SO EXCITED!
DH gets home late tomorrow after 10 days away, then his birthday is on Sunday but he's flying a day trip. Hopefully he'll get home early enough for dinner.
Morning! We've got a surveyor coming today to look at all of our stuff that needs to be shipped. He's coming right at W's nap time. I'm not thrilled with that.
The German Christmas market starts tonight so I'm sure we'll spend most of tomorrow hanging out there.
Not a Holiday here. I don't think? It's Veteran's Day in the US, but Armistice Day is on Sunday I believe.
ETA: I think it is Armistice Day here today actually. My bad.
Hello!
Working from home again today for Lucy, though she appears to be a-ok. In fact, she's turning back into a little ***! GREAT! More training in store for me!!
We had a holiday last Friday so it's a full day for me too.
Wedding stuff.
Wedding stuff.
Wedding stuff.
Omg! Do it!
Tell DH to suck it up!
Good morning. We had such a fun time last night at Graham Norton! I'll definitely be looking to do that again.
Not too much planned for us this weekend. Probably driving range and swimming. The flat really needs to be straightened up. Really exciting stuff
It's not a holiday here, but my office will be observing a minute of silence at 11am. On 11/11/11.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
Moment of silence for what? I'm so confused!!
Yeah, my coworkers were not keen on hearing that, but I won't take it for a bit. They're still forming the office there.
Wedding stuff.
I'm confused too obviously! When is UK Armistice Day? Sunday right, sushi??
Today's Rememberance Day in the UK :-) We have a moment of silence at 11 as well but I'm at work.
DH is back today after a week in Paris for work. I am really, really glad he's coming home. It's just been a sh!t week honestly. Am planning a night of wine, pizza and a terrible action movie which will be lovely. Tomorrow we have birthday cocktail night out for a friend and then football Sunday as always.BFP Apr 2012, EDD Dec 19 2012 * twin h/b at 6wk, 9wk scan * Baby A lost at 12wks, Baby B was my rainbow born at 36wks
No holiday here as DH is at work.
Today I'm meeting a friend for lunch. My aunts arrive today so we're all taking E swimming.
This evening we're going for dinner to celebrate a friends legal wedding (the big party is next weekend)
Oh and I have to buttercream the cake for E's baptism too!!
Afternoon! This is a rare day off for me because the bank is observing the U.S. holiday on Friday instead of on Sunday. (this makes a lot more sense after knowing that our ME work week is Sun-Thurs, the bank is open Sun-Fri, and I'm on the bank crew that works Mon-Fri)
I slept in a bit, made coffee, got ready, got BabyD up and ready, and met DH on base for church. This is my third time going to church since starting this job. I miss it! We did some things on base afterwards and now I'm home chilling, BabyD is napping, and DH is at work for a bit.
This weekend I'm hoping to go to the mall as a family but with a friend. We all need a few things and DH will let my friend and I do our own thing for a bit and girl talk. But DH has a bunch of work things that are going on; some requiring extra time at work, some in the "mandatory fun" category. I don't mind the latter since it means some good eating and the people there are nice. But we'll have to see how that impacts our schedule.
Hi! At first I was like - what? A holiday? What kind of holiday? And then I remembered and felt like an idiot. Germany doesn't celebrate this one...
DH has an activity with the volunteer firefighters tonight, so I've got DD all.day.long. And all night. And tomorrow morning DH goes back to the fire dept for clean-up. Yay.
Afternoon ladies!! No holiday here, DH and I are both working. Got a load of laundry in the wash, and seriously considering cleaning, but I might put that off until Sunday.
This weekend...we're going hiking tomorrow, and having friends over for lunch on Sunday!! I'm excited!
Good afternoon everyone! I'm still in Colorado, so it's Veteran's Day, mostly noticed by me from the signs that the crazy lady that owns land down the street has put up (she has a huge lot without any buildings and she always puts up crazy big political signs. She makes the Tea Party seem like socialists, so that's always fun to look at
This whole week has been a holiday for me though, the very special 'Dutchie gets to shop for quality clothes that fit and don't cost much - week'!
Plans this weekend are tomorrow meeting up with a close friend, her DH, DS and DD (we'll probably visit a farm that's open for harvest activities until Nov 15th, yay! or otherwise maybe go to the zoo (they have a free day) or do something else the kids will enjoy while mom and I catch up! Sunday we're meeting up with a bunch of my friends for dinner.
