iPhone- Have you jailbroken your iphone?
I've heard about it but not sure how to do it or what the benefits are...
Re: iPhone- Have you jailbroken your iphone?
My iPhone 4 is jailbroken, I don't think the 4s has been yet. You have access to an alternative "app store" where people post the paid apps that they have cracked, free to download. Most of the stuff in the app store is there, for free. Through another source, you also have access to non-apple apps that let you do crazy stuff to your phone, ala Android. Stuff that Apple should have in the iOS in the first place anyway, ways to customize your interface, lots of different mods.
I've never gone through the steps myself, SO always jailbreaks it for me, but it seems to be not that difficult. I think the latest is called RedSn0w.
It is absolutely worth it.
