Atl ladies - Last night I went to a new place that opened in Inman Park, Barcelona. It was so so good. One of the people I was with seems to know the staff at all their restaurants so they kept bringing us stuff off the menu to try. I love tapas but these are the best I've had so if you get a chance, I highly recommend checking the place out. The drinks are really yummy too! They make 5 different types of Sangria!

Good morning.
I am exhausted, I don't know how I'm going to make it through the day, let alone this weekend.
I got a food vacuum sealer in an effort to save money (buy meat in bulk, avoid tossing spoiled meat, stop eating out so much), save time (pre-cook dinners - just vacuum, freeze, thaw, and reheat), and stay healthy (yeah, that whole time/restaurant thing again...). I found out that it was DOA after we had bought meat at Costco. The replacement arrived Weds. and I needed to get that food cooked before it went bad, so I cooked all freaking night. I have over a week's worth of dinners though.
At the same time, I did three loads of laundry, picked up the kitchen, and sorted the mountain of mail - all while DH was out for his bi-weekly geek night. By the time I was able to get to bed, it was 1am.
I am not cut out to be a housewife, that's for sure.
I see I need to try out this Barcelona place.
Also Melissa I have a vacuum sealer as well. The bags get expensive just to warn you.
Thanks for the head's up. Yeah, I got a big box (44 bags) of quart size for ~$20. I'm still looking at a cost savings at this point even with the bags. 1 bag = 1 meal for the 2 for us.
